Covered Beauty gives an independent practitioner online bookings, deposits, consent forms and client records for £9/month. If you need shared diaries, Salon covers up to five people for £19/month. Both include unlimited bookings.

When Booksy may suit you
Booksy includes its core features in one subscription and has a consumer marketplace. Its optional Boost service is a separate decision from using the booking software.
Start with what you need each week.
Write down the jobs you expect your software to do: take a booking, collect a deposit, remind a client and find their last treatment notes. Try those jobs before paying for a wider set of tools. A lower subscription is useful only if the system fits your working day.

- Add a few treatments with the prices and durations you actually use.
- Set your working hours and open the booking page on your phone.
- Check the diary, a client record and the consent forms you need.
- Before switching, ask about importing your existing records, future appointments and any prepaid balances. Keep access to your old system until you have checked everything.

Does Booksy always take 30%?
No. The 30% fee relates to its optional Boost service and a Boost client's first visit. Its UK pricing page lists standard marketplace bookings as free. Compare the subscription separately from any promotion you choose to use.
Can I try Covered Beauty before switching?
Yes. You get seven days free. A card is required and your chosen subscription starts after the trial unless you cancel. Solo is £9/month; Salon is £19/month. Stripe processing fees and optional extras are separate.
